On May 12, the Quality Inspection Department of Ordos Mengtai Aluminum Co., Ltd. passed the audit of the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (hereinafter referred to as CNAS) and successfully obtained the laboratory national accreditation certificate, the certificate registration number is: CNAS L14674.

CNAS is the English abbreviation of China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment. It was established and authorized by the National Certification and Accreditation Administration Committee. It is currently the only institution in China that is qualified to issue nationally accredited laboratories. The testing area certified by CNAS of the Quality Inspection Department of Mengtai Aluminum Co., Ltd. is the testing of finished aluminum ingots for remelting. The testing capabilities include iron, silicon, copper, and magnesium.

Beginning in July 2019, the quality inspection department laboratory began to prepare for laboratory accreditation, which lasted for 22 months. After applying for intention, formal application, review preparation, document review, on-site review, accreditation approval and other levels of application checks, it successfully obtained CNAS nationally accredited laboratory certification.

This certification indicates that the aluminum company has the national and internationally recognized management level and testing capabilities, professional and technical personnel and advanced testing equipment resources in the testing of aluminum ingots for remelting, and can provide rigorous and efficient testing services. It provides more powerful technical support for the quality of the company's aluminum ingots for remelting.
