The first phase of Mengtai's 900,000-ton primary aluminum production project is located in Dalat Economic Industrial Park. The project adopts the industry's advanced 500KA pre-baked anode electrolyzer. The main products are aluminum ingots for remelting and aluminum water. The project has reached the first-class level in the industry in terms of process, technology, equipment, safety, and environmental protection. The project won the first batch of national quality engineering awards for 2020-2021.

After the project is fully put into production, the annual output value can reach 7.5 billion yuan and more than 1,300 jobs will be provided, which will have a strong radiating driving effect on the development of the upstream coal power energy, alumina and other raw and auxiliary materials industries and the downstream aluminum alloy processing industry.
